Why do people lie – different reasons why men and women hide the truth

Many men hide the truth, not just men but women too. Everybody is different, people get scared, affraid to disappoint someone so they lie. Some men are very attracted to tall women or sexy tall women, so they lie to make themselves to look better.

What to men lie about?

Most men lie about height, jobs or intentions. Yes, intentions are another lie, many men say something but they don’t know what they mean. For example, a man can say he wants friendship, but what he means is that he wants a friendship that can lead to a romantic relationship.
When a woman says she wants to be friends, very often she means what she says “just friends”.

Dating game can be brutal, harsh and difficult for many men. It is true that some women lie too to appear more attractive. We all have certain bias when we are meeting new people, so we have to be judge others even against our will.

Sometimes it’s good to be judgmental but sometimes it’s not. If you are judgmental and careful, you are less likely to get hurt or deceived by someone.

If you aren’t very judgmental person, it’s very exciting, attractive and very interesting or even refreshing in certain way. What would you choose?
Would you be more careful and judgmental or the opposite?

People prefer less judgmental people. It can hurt you in the long run though if you meet people who lie and cheat. Everybody wants to be loved, so less judgmental people are more attractive and easy to talk to.

If you lie, I hope you will stop. People who lie they are affraid to be judged and affraid to be rejected. Rejection is part of life and you are going to be rejected more or less depending on certain factors.

No one wants to be hurt, but no one wants to be lied to either. If you want to stop lying think about the other person. Think how hurt, betrayed he or she would feel if you she/or he found out the truth. It’s better not to say anything than to lie. Don’t lie by omission either, it hurts people too. Be honest and caring person.

Caring about truth can be hard if you were treated badly. If you were lied too many times by many different people, you are more likely to give up on truth and become as one of them. If you were abused don’t become abuser.

The world has enough lairs, cheaters already and you don’t need to be one of them. Listen to your heart and you inner values. Know what matters to you. Somewhere inside you, there is a place where you want to be a good person, being loved and cared for your greatqualities.
