Actually, it is pretty easy, but most women have the toughest time understanding men. Hidden inside the mind of every man is a secret desire to be trusted. How many times have men said to their spouses, “If you would just have faith in me?”

A lot of men wonder why it looks so difficult for their wives to do something so seemingly simple. The answer stems from the physiological differences involving the sexes.

It starts at birth when little boys are given a clear physical benefit above little girls by having elevated levels of testosterone. With testosterone comes the pure strength to protect themselves from risk.

Almost little girls don’t possess that ability. They don’t have the strength to protect themselves in a physical fight once they feel threatened.

If a boy trusts somebody who in turn harm him, he can always protect himself physically. Little girls don’t have that raw force. As a person can only trust from a position of strength, those same little girls will grow up into women who genuinely have a more hard time “trusting” when they feel helpless.

So men, when you ask the woman of your choice to just “trust you,” it is not that she can’t, it is just that she is more vulnerable than you are. If you would like her to trust you, she desires something that will aid her grow that trust.

Maybe even a gesture that she can “count on” until her trust in you is established. Thankfully this means already exists and is known by every woman. What grows trust in a woman is a man who constantly respect his word. To her, making a guarantee is worthless if there is no follow-through.

A woman wants to SEE her man fulfill his promises – not merely hear his assurance without deed.

Permit me to illustrate. Imagine someone told you that I was the selfish person they had ever met. For months, all you heard was how terrible I treated my relatives and friends.

Then one day you meet me, and during the course of our encounter, you start to observe that I do not seem to be as horrible as you have been led to believe. I in reality show to be quite pleasant.

Would you change your entire view about me from only one visit? Possibly not! Nonetheless, if you saw me take action every time with compassion and humility over a period of some weeks, your opinion of me would begin to alter.

A paradox has just been established in understanding men. The gentleness you have seen in me for the last few weeks does not match what you have heard regarding me. All the gossips of how mean I am start to diminish into shadows as a result of my steady actions.

Over time, what you see will replace most, if not all, of your worries about my character.

Men, once the woman you adore sees your words lining up with your actions, trust will naturally follow. When you don’t keep your word, it causes your wife or girlfriend to become anxious. From her point of view, she has entrusted you with her feeling and WANTS to belief you. She just needs you to help her have faith in so she can provide you what you want.

understanding men can be very challenging because most men feel there is no one on the planet who knows and understands them to the degree that they crave and deserve.
