Everyone at one time or another will suffer from the pain of a break up, and most will end up never getting back together because of taking the wrong approach. Ninety-five percent of the time it is conceivable to get back with an ex, if you take the right steps to start with, but the majority of people go about it the incorrect way.

The break up just happened, you are angry, hurt, depressed, and have a burning desire to contact your ex to try and work things out in hopes of getting back together, I know because I have been there myself.

What you really need to do is cut communication and work on yourself, get over the depression, the anger, and that burning desire to communicate your ex. One thing that should help you do this is to sit down and write a letter to your ex and vent, that’s right, let it all out, call them every name in the book, (they will never see this letter) read the letter several times, edit it and reedit it until you start to feel better then, once you begin feeling better, burn it.

OK now that you have rid yourself of the anger, frustration, and depression you have to get on with our life, no matter how hard it might seem to do you must at the very least give the appearance that you have come to terms with the break up and are getting on with your life. You can do this by renewing your friendships with some of your old friends that may have slipped while you were in the relationship, call them, go out with them, start enjoying life without your ex.

By taking this first step of getting over the broken relationship and moving on, you can find out for sure if there is a chance to get back your ex. If you are wondering how this is going to help you determine if there is any chance at all to get back with your ex well, that’s simple. Once your ex realizes that you are doing find without them, if they want to reunite, they will try to find out how this is possible since that’s not normal after going through a break up. They can even try to call or get in touch with you to see if you are willing to talk and work things out.

If you want to get back with an ex, when they do start to call or try to get in touch with you, talk to them but, keep it short do not give the impression of being overly anxious at the prospect of getting back together. Be nonchalant and try to give the impression that you will talk to them and be friends, but that you also have things to do so you can’t talk long. If you want this to work then you must go slowly, moving to rapidly could put you back at the beginning.

Now after a few short conversations (make sure you stay civil and friendly), whether in person, over the phone, or even by text messaging or email, you should try to get them to meet you for a quick cup of coffee or maybe a quick lunch or snacks together or anything along these lines, just try to make sure they are short meeting and the conversations stay civil and friendly you might want to try and avoid talking about the break up. You may talk about things like, the weather, fun things you’ve been doing, things you may have started to plan like going to a concert, or a vacation. If your short meetings go well, you could slowly start to build into longer meetings.

Eventually to get back with an ex, you will end up having to talk about the break up. When that time arrives, if you really want to get back with your ex, you will most likely have to accept all the blame for the break up, admit you were wrong and apologize for whatever it was you may have done wrong and move on, Try not to let you or your ex dwell on it.

Once you are to this point, it just a matter of building a new relationship with your ex, the reason I say new is because when the break up happened the old relationship ended and once it’s over there is no going back so, you basically have to start from scratch and build a new relationship.

These are just very simple steps, how to get ex back is much more complicated then just these few simple steps I covered here. I won back my ex by following a well-laid out step by step plan, actually two because I really wanted to get my ex back and, I honestly feel either one by themselves would have worked.
