Somewhere in London I was parked in front of the traffic light before a car smashed my brand new volvo S40 from the back. First few seconds it was like a blur, I didn’t know what to do but I was indeed badly hurt. Then all of a sudden I heard a soft voice apologising to me. I was very angry but as soon as I saw the woman apologising to me my anger just calmed down but I did start feeling horrible pain at the back of my neck. I struggled to move my neck though nothing was broken (thank god).

She was wearing a red dress, looked like a model from Kellogg’s cornflakes. She was so scared it looked like she was going to burst into tears. My family always told me new cars generally brings bad luck and when the car crashed into the back of my new car I was thinking oh no. But when she stood next to me in that red dress and looked at me with innocent eyes I just thought to myself how beautiful she is.

As I couldn’t move my neck properly, I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance and the funny thing is she came to visit me within few minutes of me reaching the hospital. I mean the girl has to be sweet and caring if she does that for a stranger. There was the ice breaker, till I was seen we spent few hours talking. Yes waiting in the hospital is not a new thing. We share stories and jokes, on how we bought the cars and now her car is a wreck as he bonnet has completely been smashed out. If you really love someone, you wish to possess this person, to share a unique relationship with them and never have rivals.

Of course, you feel jealous when someone special is near the person you love, especially if you cannot be there or if you are afraid that they may be “secret friends”…

If you know that you have many rivals because the person you love is also loved by many others, then you are always suffering when a rival appears near him or her.

Things are worse when you don’t have a relationship with the person you love… yet.

But even if you are together, the existence of many rivals is not pleasant.

Perhaps you are the kind of person who is really too jealous, even without reason.

In any case, we must do something about this problem, because jealousy makes you suffer and on the other hand, when you show to the person you love how jealous you are, you are revealing your weakness, and this is not a good thing.

Trust the person you love. Stop torturing yourself with suspicious thoughts and simply feel fine, and believe that he or she is loyal and loves you as much as you love him or her.

Be confident but don’t be naïve.

You must show indifference to all your rivals, especially in front of the person you love. This way they will never have the idea of provoking your jealousy… because you don’t care.

You should really be self-confident and never believe that your lover has “secret friends,” but if you cannot be that indifferent, at least pretend.

On the other hand, don’t overdo it! Show to your love that you care for him or her of course! Show him or her that you noticed that somebody else has another intention and you didn’t like it if this is the case. You are not silly and you are not indifferent to your lover!

However, be cool. Simply express a normal level of jealousy when necessary but keep an attitude of total indifference to all the rivals you may have most of the time, because this is the best for you.

I have been looking all over the net to find the best romantic weekend deal for us as in me and my girlfriend. I have no idea where I am going to take her but I just want to see her smiling with love and joy. I have been googling all day to find the best and a cheap deal but to be honest haven’t really got anywhere.

I just cannot make my mind up on where to take her. I have looked at deals on various countries such as Italy, Cyprus, Spain, Holland, France, Croatia, Israel, Germany and others but I am finding it difficult to make my mind up.

But what I have done is completely crossed out other destinations except Italy and Spain.

I chose Spain because of Barcelona being one of the beautiful cities in Europe and other Venice as it is one of the romantic cities of the World. It started in 2007 when there was a buzz of facebook all around in the UK and some of the dating sites were also marketing themselves on TV and on the Internet. Facebook was making it mark in the UK when I was just starting to learn how to build my own Website. I was in the verse of breaking up with my girlfriend and because of that I was a bit sad. While browsing the net one day I found this dating site so I decided to give it a go and register on it. Have you ever started to date someone, begun to have feelings for them and then found out that they still hadn’t gotten over their ex? Few things in the dating world are more annoying than the “Ex-factor”. If someone is not over their ex, no matter how hot, sexy, intelligent and sweet you are, it won’t matter, because they are not in a position to appreciate it at the moment. They are living in the past. You are competing with someone they have a history with, who knows them a lot better than you do and who they share a lot of good memories with.

How do you know if someone isn’t over their ex? The two main clues are if they’re always mentioning the other person, when there is clearly no reason for it or if they refuse to discuss the ex. So what can you do? Practice what I call the: “Lose ‘em to keep ‘em” move. Sit your sweetie down and say: I like you and enjoy being with you, but it doesn’t seem as if you’re over your ex. That’s not fair to either one of us and I can’t continue to see you under these circumstances. I don’t want to be in a rebound relationship. I think you need to go and do whatever you need to, in order to figure out what you want. This will probably surprise them and they may even deny still being into the ex, but don’t fall for it. No matter how much they beg and plead, stand by your statement. If they ask whether you are going to be dating others, the answer is, “Yes!”.

Don’t worry that if they get back with their ex it will be over forever with you. I once started dating someone that had just gotten out of a relationship. When the ex found out, suddenly she wanted him back. He saw both of us for a while, although she thought he had broken it off with me. One night he had to leave to go pick her up. I was not happy about that and told him so. His response was: Too bad. I broke up with him that night. They were together for another year but in the meantime he kept in touch with me. When he caught her cheating, he immediately broke it off and came running back to me. I took my time taking him back and from that moment on I always had the upper hand in what turned out to be a five year relationship. Eventually he asked me to marry him but I turned him down. I truly believe that if I hadn’t broken up with him and had instead put up with him seeing me on the side, the relationship would have ended for good within a short time and he wouldn’t have come back.

The ex is an ex for a reason-something obviously wasn’t working. More often than not, if they do get back together, eventually they’ll fall into the same patterns and before you know it, they’ll start having problems again. You need to give them an opportunity to see that it’s not going to work, so that they can stop idealizing the relationship in their minds. It will probably happen sooner rather than later if you’re not around to distract them. When they finally have closure, they will be able to move on and give you their full attention.

The worst date I have ever been on occurred when I was 17 years old. I was dating a fellow whose parents I had never met. He lived with his grandmother and his parents came to visit about once a month.

I walked into my house one Friday night after and I see a 270 lb man covered in tattoos and a stringy- hair, rough looking woman standing in the dining room. Since I come from a conservative Christian home, this is not something I saw everyday. I soon realized these were his parents. They asked my Mom and Dad if I could ride with them to a town about 3 hours away and stay the night so that we could go to the amusement park the next morning. They agreed as long as my boyfriend and I were in separate beds. They agreed to the condition and on our merry way we went.

Once in the car and down the road, his father lights up a joint and his mom pulls out a Ziploc bag full of pills. They began to fight over who would get what and started punching each other. I was freaking out.

Finally, we arrived at the roach infested hotel. As soon as we walk in the room, his father strips down to his underwear. Not a pretty sight!!! His mom then tells us to get ready for bed and she goes and changes into a black teddy (a trashy black teddy). They lay down in the bed together and my boyfriend and I look at each other; both of us remembering what my father’s instructions were. We climb into bed – me on one seam under the covers; him on the other seam above the covers. At about 4 o’clock my boyfriend wake me up and asks if my father is going to kill him. I told him that it was a possibility.

We got up the next morning and went to the amusement park. His dad was in leather, his mom in a halter top, and to make matters worse, it was raining . We went our separate ways from his parents but said we would meet up with them at lunch. At the gate, we had to get our hand stamped to be able to reenter the park. While in line, his mother started screaming at some 14 year old girl. She said that the girl had pushed her and caused her to spill her beer. The girl was no where near her. I was so humiliated.

We went out to the car at lunch and his mother started stripping in the parking lot. I literally mean stripping down to nothing. She finally got changed and we went back in the park. It was finally time to go home. We got in the car and again they started fighting. Finally my boyfriend tells them to pull the car over and he drives us the rest of the way home. He drops his parents off and tells them to get out and he will deal with them later and takes me home. My parents asked how it went when I got home and I replied, “It was magical, like right out of a movie…a horror movie. Good night.”
