Getting An Ex Back When You Were The One Who Dumped Him

It’s hard getting back with your ex when you were dumped. Imagine yourself how it is if you were the one that dumped. That’s even worse, and it’s the situation Anna had, and she really wanted to get her ex back.

Anna’s so called friend Rhonda told her that her boyfriend Nick had slept with another woman, so Anna dumped Nick without verifying the information.

After a few days, Anna found out that her friend Rhonda lied because she was jealous. So now Anna wanted to get her boyfriend back, but at the same time save her face.

So Anna called Nick and explained what happened, but she had no success in getting her ex back. He was hurt because she didn’t trust him and because she didn’t want to talk things over with him.

Getting her ex back took all of Anna’s wiles.

First of all, she wrote a letter to Nick in which she apologized. Basically, she took responsibility for what happened and she promised that it will never happen again. She also reminded Jamie the long history they had together and the beautiful times they shared, and she said that she didn’t want to throw it all away. She explained him the reasons she acted the way she did; it was because she loved him so much and she couldn’t stand the thought of him being with another woman. The thought of losing him was too painful.

After she mailed the letter, she did not bother him with constant phone calls or texts, she gave him some space.

When she ran into Nick, she was as nice as she could be, and she worked the positive memories into the conversation casually, and she did no more apologizing. She already told him that she was sorry and let it go like that.

When Nick’s favorite band was in town, Anna got tickets to the concert, and she asked him to go with her just as friends. Doing so, she opened the door to a future relationship without crowding him.

Getting back with your ex after you dumped him is quite difficult. You don’t only need to get through your embarrassment of apologizing, but you also have to start from scratch again on the relationship. The key component is rebuilding the trust.

Eventually, Nick and Anna got back together, because Nick saw that Anna’s outburst was an act of jealousy from a woman that deeply loved him. Nick saw this as a mistake that
they could both grow from. Their relationship became even stronger after that.
Anna took the right approach to getting back with your ex. It is possible to get back with your ex even if you where the one who did the dumping. Remember before you make the tragic misstate of letting someone go talk to them. Once you all establish positive communication most of the time you will find out that you are only jumping to conclusions, because you do not have all of the facts.
