Getting your girlfriend back can sometimes seem like an impossible thing that we just can’t keep out of our mind. Especially if there is a lot of bitterness or trust appearing on either side. In many cases, couples who are headed on their way to a break up will go through a phase where one or the other of you needs “space”. This holds true especially if either one have planned it in advance. This is a serious indicator that something in your relationship isn’t working, and you need to try and communicate with each other and figure out where the problem is.

You both should know what happened and where things are going. Claiming that you need time doesn’t necessarily give either one of you a direction to go in. It is just a some sort of procedure that is usually followed by an actual break up. Getting your ex back in the situation like this can be difficult, because you had the chance to fix it before the break up even happened, and either couldn’t or you just didn’t care.

If you are serious about getting your ex back, you have to reopen lines of communication and let your ex know that you are available to discuss things and are open to working it out. But you also can’t be falling all over them, trying to force them to take you back. For instance, you should listen to your partner very carefully letting her know that you really care. Show your confidence and be in a charge of your intentions instead of nagging, “you will change”!

Love and relationships can’t be forced and the only thing you will succeed in doing if you try to force it, is dispossess your ex even more than they may already be. This will not help you in getting your ex back, and you will not be happy with the result. This can be happened, if you play the games with your own rules while having a specific mental image of the situation without taking into consideration the the other persons needs and desires

There is a fine line people must walk in the relationship mine field, and those who walk it well are the ones that succeed in getting the guy or girl they want, whether it be an ex or not. I hesitate to calling playing a game, because I hate playing games and prefer honesty myself, but even when being honest, relationships are still a bit of a game. Getting your ex back involves you learning to play that game like a pro, whether you like it or not.

That means knowing when to push, knowing when to back off, knowing what being overbearing is or stalking, and what being independent is, versus just seeming like you just don’t care. It is taking self confidence, even when you might not be feeling it comfortable in order to make your ex see you in a favorable light. It’s all a bit of a game, but if you play it well, getting your ex back is a very attainable goal. Just be certain that it is really what you want, and that you are not holding on to a dream of the person you used to know.
