2. DO NOT apologize profusely for everything – When you apologize for everything, you make it seem like you have no back bone. Even if you don’t have anything to apologize for, when you say I am sorry for everything, your significant other starts to doubt your integrity in the first place. When I was getting my ex back, you can be sure that apologies came far and few between and only when appropriate.
3. DO NOT Promise to change for good this time – Do I even need to say it? This is like “never say never.” People as a rule don’t change. You and I both know that this is only a last ditch effort to make another empty promise to keep someone on board for just a little longer. Summary? It doesn’t work! Keep reading and learn what does.
4. DO NOT try to get them to see that it wasn’t really your fault – Come on, nobody is truly this smooth. At least not for long.
