“I want to Get My Ex Girl Back but nothing I do seems to work, what am I doing wrong?” Is this a question you find you’re asking yourself after being on the wrong end of a unexpected break-up? Have you lost the lover that was ‘the one’ for you?
Does life not seem worth living at the moment?
Well bust-ups are a regular occurrence and what is equally common is blokes making the same mistakes when attempting to win their ex girlfriend back. I’m going to tell you the four huge blunders men typically make.

1. Acting needy
In an attempt to win the girl back, guys will often send cards, handwritten love notes, chocolates or maybe even rock up outside the ex girl’s apartment with guitar in hand whilst simultaneously singing to be taken back. This is not going to Get Back Your Ex Girl and none of these things (whether you used to do them or not) are the reason why she is no longer drawn to you.
A desperate guy is not appealing. Ask yourself when was the last time you were attracted to a desperate woman? I’m willing to bet it was 3am in a grotty nightclub after you’d drank 12 pints of beer. By the way, trying to get your ex girlfriend back by getting her inebriated is also not a good strategy. It won’t work and it may end up in court!

2. Attempting to convince her with logic and reason
Telling your ex girlfriend that you’re going to change, that the relationship will be different from now on, that you’ll pay her more attention, etc, etc will not work. Guys may make decisions based on logic but women make decisions based on how they feel. Yes this can drive us men crazy but it also means that all is not lost as if you know how to push her hot buttons you will be able to get your ex girlfriend back.

3. Trying to stay in constant contact with her
Guys who have been dumped by their girlfriends will often try to stay in constant touch with her by phoning her, emailing her, texting (‘text message terrorism’), instant messaging or maybe just some good old Facebook/MySpace-stalking. Guys may also try to stay in touch by turning up at the same places whether that be a pub, club or grocery store. This is generally going to 1. creep out your ex, 2. portray yourself in her eyes as some sort of annoying mosquitoe who she wishes would just buzz off and 3. displays that you obviously haven’t got much else going on in your social life which in itself isn’t a good quality. Sometimes bumping into your ex is inevitable particularly if mutual friends are involved. If this happens be cool, be polite and spend most of your time speaking to your other mates.

4. Repeatedly declaring “I love you”
Some guys believe that saying these three words will remedy all the problems. No! These words are meaningless if not backed up by the correct actions and cannot reignite attraction on their own. She is more likely to see you as a pathetic shell of a man and may well show you pity but will not show you love.
