Realize and admit to your screw ups, own up to them and take responsibility for your actions. Both of you must stop thinking you are too good to go back and say “I am sorry” and when one of you does come back and say “I’m sorry,” the other cannot hold it above their head saying “you should be you are the one that made the mistake.” Once you decide that what you had as a couple in a great relationship is more important than problems that drove you apart, you will be able to forgive each other and work together to resolve the situation and, once again, become a happy couple.
